@idominatei ATM, Celtic are comparable to the lower half teams in the Premier League only because we earn about £2m per season from TV deals whereas even the smallest teams in the Premier League earn 20 times as much as that with the SKY deal etc. Celtic couldn't compete with West Brom for Jason Koumas because he wanted £40k per week wages. After a few years in the Premier League, Celtic would be comparable to a team like Tottenham financially but with a bigger fanbase and average capacity.

Everybody going on about Celtic not being able to compete in the Premier League because of past players going down South and being flops, but look at like this the Scottish League does not generate as much money as the Premier League Now Celtic being one the the biggest Clubs in the world being in the premier league rich cunts that buy the likes of Man City Chelsea will see that they would see a club with a huge fan base and given the resources we would no doubt win the premier league!!!

@nicolastewart100 Since when you say? The first one was the 1891 Glasgow Cup since then Celtic have won 87 major honours not including : the British League Cup, the Coronation Cup, the Empire Exhibition Trophy or the Glasgow Cup.

The last trophy Celtic won was the 2009 Scottish League Cup, beating Rangers 2-0 (a.e.t)
