It doesn't effect your engine if you put some tights there in replace to stop things getting in. Sounds good mate.

Bei meinem 1.6er clio phase B nehm ich einfach son "vorluftfilterkasten" ab und es klingt so trotz luftfilter :) Freut

Tu me fais bien rire, il y a 15 ans je fesais la même connerie de jojo pour entendre le moteur ronronné à chaque accélération, sauf que je roulais tous temps sans le filtre, le moteur aimait vraiment beaucoup :o)
