  • Nice place, what kind of fly were you using?

  • Small dry flies (Greenwell's Glory and Tups Indispensable), because it is more fun, on very light tackle and a small rod (you don't want to carry much on a long walk over the mountains).

  • Yes it is private. I booked a cottage on the estate with free fishing. Search for Doe Cottage (pictured in the film). The isolated loch is a long walk over the mountains. The river is small and difficult to fish. But great fun.

  • where is that loch? what's its name? looks good

  • On a small estate high up in the mountains between the Rivers Moriston and Doe, Inverness-shire. About 2 miles north east of Loch Clunie.
