From the barackobama.com website, here was my challenge. To create the best 30 second video that makes the case for passing health insurance reform in 2009. The animatronic character woman utilized in this video was handmade by Robert Veach and controlled by a computer. The background song used was written and played by my son Stephen Veach. My wife Judy wrote the script and provided the voice over. My brother Stephen Veach provided computer technical support. The robot was controlled using an electronic control method I developed that utilizes Cakewalk Music Creator 3. The video was edited using Pinnacle Studio ver. 11 and audio effects were added using Adobe Audition 1.5. The video camera I used was the Canon HD TX-1.

  • interesting, then, that the GOVERNMENT has recently said mammograms should not be done until 50, rather than 40. Simply Outstanding!

  • We in the US better get used to this kind of reform. Our society has become data focused and not people focused. The data showed that the mammograms did not help for cancer detection at age 40 (or should we say did not help enough to justify the cost)...

  • and government is going to be better? Personal opinion, but the reform we need to take should be the kind that makes no insurance a viable option. An extra middle-man will only make us more data-based, more rationed, more robotic and uncaring.

  • Cool video I like it.
