Ladies and Gentlemen, a Legion of TORGOS

Now for something that's going to make sense to a small percentage of the population. Unless you're familiar with MANOS: The Hands of Fate, or the episode of MST3k where Joel and the bots have to suffer through it, you probably won't get it. Just type in TORGO in the search and you'll probably get the idea in ten seconds.

But there's more to this video than it appears. I saw some videos here on YouTube where Mike, Kevin and Bill get approached by fans dressed as Torgo at ComicCon, usually with the "haunting Torgo theme" accompanying them. Happened in '08, '09, and I'm sure will happen in '10. Now I had this odd idea, what if you had hundreds and hundreds of people dressed as Torgo invade ComicCon at once. Just imagine the faces on Mike, Kevin and Bill. Probably more frightened than anything.

So I had the image of Torgos stuck in my head for a while now, and I didn't really want to take static snapshots and move them around, and I don't have time to snap several frames and edit everything else out. So I drew Torgo on my new tablet and animated it in After Effects. Could it be better? Definitely. But it gets the idea across. =P

So, anyone willing to turn this into some bizarre reality?

Thanks for the laff! I'd love to see them all suddenly breakout into a 'Michael Jackson' style dance set to the Torgo Theme. In the meantime, I will enjoy the visual alone.
