@wiiduty You obviously don't know the reason why people actually hunt for them the hard way.
It gives a great feeling when a shiny finally appears.
It's not because we want to have different looking pokemon, it's the rarity that makes them so wanted. Ofcourse there are tons of cool looking shinies, but the main reason is the rarity, for most of the hunters.

@drygdtg That's completely different for everyone.
I prefer hunting them the hard way because it gives a great feeling when you finally find what you're looking for.
People who RNG only get them because of the color difference =p
I don't even see the point in RNG abusing, you just get a different colored pokemon while it's the rarity of the shinies that makes them so valuable =3

yesterday ive found 3 shinies within 5 minutes each other! bunneary was at chain 15, i've caught it, then i went at route 201 and at chain 1 i've found a shiny starly! i was just like... WTF??? 0.o

@piscis128 Nope. Even though IDs, along with some other things, influence shinyness, there are no better IDs than others.
