DIdn't touch the wiring for this conversion either, just disconnected the auto trans plugs and left them unhooked...so don't need to change any of the wiring over for it to work...just has a lot of bulk harness over top of the mtx trans now.
Just remember that shift cable is a thick bastard to cut though, and you'll need to JB weld the ignition cylinder lock (part of the atx crap) open so the key won't lock allowing you to remove it from the ignition cylinder when you shut the car off.
