Chicken Pad Thai Recipe - Delicious Asian Food

Ingredients:

Marinade for chicken
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 tablespoons white wine

12 oz. Thai rice noodles
2 sliced chicken breasts
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup fresh bean sprouts
3 green onions
1/4 chopped peanuts
2 eggs
4 cloves garlic chopped
2 tablespoons cooking oil
lime wedges

Pad Thai Sauce:
1 Tbsp. tamarind paste dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
1 Tbsp. fish sauce
1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. Gourmet Garden chili pepper spice blend
3 Tbsp. brown sugar

Preparation:

Combine ingredients for Pad Thai Sauce in 1/4 cup warm water
Boil large pot of water and remove from heat. Cook noodles 5-6 minutes until al-dente
In hot wok add garlic and marinated chicken. Cook until 80% done. Move aside and cook 2 eggs. Stir in noodles with sauce. When finished add bean sprouts green onions. Garnish with chopped peanuts and lime wedges.

    A dash of sugar is common in Asian recipes that can always be omitted if you wish.

  • I wish I could be sucucessful making Asian dishes. One problem is a small town I live in we can not get ingredients we need.

    Never heard of pad see ewe before but I have made something like it. Similar dish with thicker noodles right? Look for my pork with yellow noodles it may be what you're looking for. If you can't find let me know I'll IM you the link.
