@ampthilluk Actually you're wrong. You are just repeating what the police claimed at the time. This was disproved at the inquest, & they have since withdrawn their previous claim that he was running away , or acting suspiciously in any way. He even had time to pick up a newspaper before casually walking to the train where they shot him without any warning in his seat. The police have fully apologised to his family. Have you ever walked onto a train with a rucksack?

mistakes happen if the police got it right they would be heros but if they get it roung they can lose there job. thow they should have good everdence to act. you cant take a risk these day
-
@Albionshousecarl the problem with police tho, is they get things wrong ALOT but they arent supposed to act on what they got wrong until after its been corrected or they have all the information (the whole innocent until proven guilty thing), but them getting it wrong, acting, totaly cutting out due process, and killing people, has gotten so bad that certain places have even passed laws that say you can defend yourself against them with equal force if you know you are innocent
-
@Festivejelly actually only 4 people have blown themselves up - and as I wasn't there to see it I can only assume that what I am told is true, and I really hate trusting what people tell me, especially where money and oil is concerned. However, you look at it the state has convinced a lot of people that they will be safer if we have armed police ready to shoot to kill in a moment - I think that happened somewhere else once before.

@ampthilluk The big word here dude is if - listen I'm probably a bigger nationalist than you - I know my countries history inside out, our greated=st leader ever was Cromwell and our greatest monarch was Elizabeth I - but the key thing here is that we Brits are meant to be free in our own land and there is no way the cops knew who this guy was when they shot him, he could've been British as well as innocent, when did my country become some childish comp game? THIS IS ENGLAND
-
@Albionshousecarl if a man with a rucksack wasnt stopping when police were telling him to, and he ws getting on to an underground train then can you think of how to respond better? if he had been a terroroist and they hadnt killed him then dozens of people wouldve been dead if he had a bomb.
-
@ampthilluk Oh - So I guess it's now a crime to run anywhere - gosh - thanks for pointing that out ot me.
-
@Albionshousecarl because the brazilian man ran through the security and didnt stop when police told him.

Hardly a big deal, he was released again

@princeslade There isn't a single police force in the world that gets it right every time. Of course it's a horrible thing to happen to an innocent person, but try to be realistic.
