first 2 seasons and 1/2 way though third

they changed from what if to parody and scripts kept getting worse.

they took the goose that laid the golden egg

and poached it instead of hatching it

@xslider13 Some people think the real professor Arturo got left behind on the world of the Azure Gate Bridge, and so he might reappear.

@AMPDOG2 Actually they never quite explained that. They just left that up in the air and I think they originally meant to use that as a future story line in which they would find out that they had the wrong one and take a few episodes to fix that problem

@AMPDOG2 Actually, there is debate on this. We all know he was shot to death in the season 3 episode "The Exodus, Part 2"; however, in the season 2 episode "Post-Traumatic Slide Syndrome", the group landed on a world with Professor's double trying to slide with them at the end. After a fight, one Professor slid leaving the other saying "Oh my God." suggesting the wrong Professor slid. This also suggests Earth Prime's Professor could still be alive.

Technically we do not know what happened. Tracy Trome or whatever said he intended for the double of the professor in the episode Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome. But due to him loosing control of the show and the actor for the professor leaving the next year it was never solved. @xslider13

@nastynas9000 Yeah. I couldn't get into Mallory, really. He seemed like that goofy kid next door that like to light cats on fire, then laugh. He had the looks part though. So I guess that's what they were looking for in the end.

@TowelTroi Yeah Dianna's character had potential. Though she was alright, kindag liked her. I wasn't fond of Mallory at all thow. He was alright in the odd episode but overall shit. Plus the actor who played him was terrible.
