This steamup on Cape Cod this past summer was hosted by Doug Hill on his "Satucket Creek & Far Fields Ry", organized by Doug & Kent Williams. (My thanks to both of them for their hospitality!. :) Some of the locos are an Aster "Schools" British 4-6-0, my two Accucraft Shays, an Accucraft 0-6-0, & Doug's VERY impressive Accucraft Rio Grande K-36 on it's maiden run! :)

  • How many feet of track?

  • @engineer1876

Couldn't say for certain, but I'd guess mainline is at least 50% longer than my own railroad, which has a 160-foot mainline run.

  • Hey I'm the first to view this vid! Very nice lay out. Looks like you had a great time!

  • Greetings,

Doug and I figure the layout is just over 300 feet of double mainline. Tom's video from the shay gives a good overview of the garden.
