  • u look lovely as alwayz Dr. Akbari whre can we buy ur products?

  • @HottieIphy

Thanks that is sweet... You can find Hair Nutrition System on my web site lisaakbari.

  • Hi! Dr.Akbari. Your hair is beautiful. I need an opinion. What do u think about using bentonite clay, ACV, and avocado oil to cleanse hair on a weekly basis?

  • @ROLLEJACK

Bentonite Clay, Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse, and Avocado Oil cannot clean you hair

Start with Bentonite Clay, it is made of a group of minerals that typically form a clay when mixed with water, and can offer some strengthening properties to the hair but cannot clean the hair or scalp.

  • @LisaAkbariProducts

Now let us move to Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse: it has some anti bacteria properties so it may help with itching, but because Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse has a pH of 2.9 it is too acidic for dry hair. Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse will dissolve some oil buildup on oily hair or some build-ups from debris/products on dry hair, but it will not clean the hair and scalp and will also cause dehydration on the shaft resulting in breakage.

  • @LisaAkbariProducts

And finally Avocado Oil like most oils can be used to lubricate the hair and scalp and offer shine and seal in moisture. Avocado oil also can be used as a carrier oil in order to help in combining a combination of oils together. Avocado oil will not clean your hair or scalp.

  • You r absolutely fab! Always enjoy ur videos!

  • your hair seems to grow so fast!! you were your hair out often too! do you feel that we should have to wear protective styles to get lenth

  • How do you feel about steaming ones hair? Is it at all useful for hair care? I have a do it yourself way and it makes my hair soft.

  • Love your hair. I was only able to retain one inch of hair after a year. I think it's the detangling process that I use. I use your shampoo and conditioner (love them) but I think I was doing more damage using a wide tooth comb to detangle. I have never been able to run my finger through my hair like to demonstrated :-).

  • Hi Dr. Lisa, your hair is so beautiful that I would like to try out your products. I am having breakage but I am still retaining length, but I believe I could retain more if my hair would stop breaking. It is short pieces of hair that is breaking, also I would like to know if I order your get the length products do I get a free hair analysis? Also how is the vegan lifestyle coming along for you?

  • I am transitioning back to natural and shampooing my hair with a PH balanced shampoo or any other shampoo including my hard water is making my hair rock hard and dry. I have been co washing for the past 2 weeks to keep the hair soft and hydrated. It is working. So i will chelate the hair maybe once every 3 weeks.
