  • This is actually the majority of America when you get down to brass tacks-crime,poverty, and urban environments that are dehumanized. The EU is creeping in the same direction with neoliberalism.

  • lemme get what i want!

  • ironic enough, mcdonalds (at 125th) has installed the very same window to peddle their goddamn product after the sun has fallen. duh-duh-duh-duh-duh- im lovi'n it.

  • @CantWaitUntil2012 Really? Where do you get this info? From the Whitey Black-Haters Nation?

  • Much like the above ( and all of Wiseman's unstaged, cinema verite-styled documentaries), you should check out a documentary called Streetwise (it's very rare, but has been uploaded on YouTube) It's a non-staged observation of street life: no celebrity narrators, no manipulative tricks, it's as close to street living that a viewer will ever get. Photographer Mary Ellen Mark is spot-on; director Martin Bell is refreshingly un-exploitative. A must-see. Thanks for sharing, gulasj. A classic!

  • @tokyohalogen

yo respect men that u also think it"s bull shit !

  • I used to live in the old 4th ward in Atlanta, GA and they did this exact same thing after a certain hour every night. If you wanted to make a purchase of something you had to stand at a window and ask for it by name... Of course for the reason that they did not want to get robbed. If you were white however, like I am, they would let you into the shop because they felt like you were less of a threat. Fucked shit.

  • Feel sorry for those folks.

  • @jcadraver

Nobody...want's to be robbed...but that's hardly an exuse to lock your customers out of the shop...lol.

  • @weirdcitykid I'm guessing the store owners don't want to be robbed.
