Nothing special, I just wanted to be the first to upload a cover of The Quest to youtube. I made some mistakes and played it by ear, so I really couldn't figure out the notes of the shredding part of the solo. All in all, it was just fun, done in a rush of a single day.

Listen to it or not, but what I would've done is the following: get a backing track from the internet, maybe midi or whatever, tune it to Standard E, and just play the regular song in standard E, cause now you're actually playing the C version in E, so you miss low notes :O
But it was good so, do whatever you like

Sorry, I haven't written down any tabs so far, mainly beacuse I played it in a different tuning and by ear. But you can ask Alestorm on their facebook-site. usually they upload tabs when you ask them.

Yeah, but it's quite complicated to get my guitar down to C without using new strings, so I tried it in Standard E. But thanks for the feedback! Yarr!

Aye, that's understandable. It's a good effort for a higher tuning. When you get a chance I'd be happy to see a C standard version. You have it down otherwise!
