MSP430 Launchpad Tutorial 1: Blinking a led.

This is my first attempt at a tutorial and it is somewhat rough around the edges. I only wanted to talk about the use of P1OUT. Anyway I will go into detail on timers, inputs, ports, ADC, & timers later on.

Great tutorial. I'm a total newbie to microcontrollers and am looking at getting this platform. Its cool that you showed the entire process and having a couple of errors and showing how you went through the compile listing to find the errors is really great too! I've subscribed and am looking forward to more. :) I'm ordering my MSP430 today...

It was kinda weird. My name is Kyle too and both of our workspace location are the same. Kinda confusing to me when I was watching :)

Nice tutorial man .I am a newbie so i have a question . You checked for the condition

if(CALBC1_1MHZ=0XFF||CALDCO_1M­HZ) . Could you explain both these conditions individually ?

one question, how did you get it to work in windows 7?

As soon as I plug in my launchpad through usb, it says the usb malfunctioned and cannot be used!

any ideas?
