This was a project to learn more about photo-realistically replicating a real world object in 3d, textures and all, then integrating the 3d object into footage with the original object, and placing them side by side for hardcore comparison.
(For the CG Eliteā¢) PLEASE NOTE: this was done without a lidar scan, without an HDR environment capture or light information of any kind, on a camera that heavily compresses the captured footage (.mp4, 2000kbps, @1280p), with a zoom lens (not a prime), with an automatically controlled aperture, white balance, etc... basically a $200 point and shoot.
