  • The media knows it will be a landslide blowout, so they are avoiding speaking of all the McCain flip-flops and scandals, and just pick at the nuance of anything Obama says. They dont do news anymore, only commentary. Commentary is someone's opinion, not real actual fact and news...ridiculous-

  • They are trying to paint him as a flip-flopper. They are appealing to the stupid in us.

  • Obama has said repeatedly for over a dozen months that "we need to be as careful pulling out of Iraq as we were careless going in." Pulling troops out of hostile environments is a strategic move that can't be done without careful planning. So the pace of their withdrawal is based on this concept. We just can't afford carelessness. Where's the flip flop in that?

  • mmmmm Rachel Maddow. =P

  • mccain is clearly not the right person for president.if he was, he would have been a long time ago.this war is hurting our country. we need change and we need it NOW.

  • A smart President knows how to lead, you can't lead when you cant stick to a position, Obama is all over the place. He has changed his mind all of a sudden, about gun rights,late-term abortions,Iraq,Wire tapping,Special interests,Public financing,The Cuba embargo Etc... What is he going to say when the Generals tell him we are winning in iraq and leaving would be a disaster for the whole region? He has 300 people who advise him on foreign policy. Come on, he is a well spoken suit.

  • Wrong.

  • How dare MSNBC put under Obama the caption which reads, "NO FLIP, NO FLOP" while Obama is flip flopping by saying, "the pace of the withdrawal would be dictated by... the need to maintain stability"

He never was for maintaining stability there. He wanted to bug out years ago. That's why he won the Dem nomination.

    "Lame Fireworks" -What a joke.

I made a video about this very topic. Check it out.

  • Won't it be great to have a SMART President again? I have a weakness for smart people who know their jobs.

  • True

  • Anyone who has taken a look at Obama's policy proposals from the beginning knows he's not flip flopping. He's always been a mix of liberal and centrist notions. It's just that the liberal issues were, for the most part, foregrounded in the primaries and now it's his more centrist notions that are foregrounded. God forbid we should have a complex individual running for president instead a party-line machine!
