This is an absolutly epic song - probably the best on the album IMHO.

Some say christianity is about conformity. Tell that to Jesus, nailed to a cross for challenging religious leaders of his time. His message was so revolutionary, the world couldn't stand him. Tell christians being fed to lions they were conformist as well, or Reformists pursued by the church, or christians being killed today in the Middle East.

@GoongalaGoongala I can't stand it when people say a genre of music is "about" something. Music is about music. Here on youtube we have metal covers of everything from rebecca black to legend of zelda music, without any of this "striking out against authority" stuff. If anything, Tourniquet are being pretty nonconformist by cranking out awesome metal while people fret about them not following the "rules" of metal.

Pretty amazing album, with a pretty amazing guitarist- Mr Marty Friedmen! Now, christian band or not this just classic heavy metal. I'm just as happy to sit down and listen to Slayer, Destruction, Kreator, Priest etc as I am this new release. To me, both the whole fantasy world of God and satan is crap so I simply enjoy the music for what it is- classic metal with great musicians!

@GoongalaGoongala You're right, there is no freedom in religion. It's a set of do's and don't's, humanity's attempt to get to God. Christianity is realizing that you're not perfect, believing in Jesus as your savior from sin and death.

@Scoobydrew02 Honestly, I have a hard time believing that a Christian Metal band is going to open up any metalheads to God. Because most Metalheads stand directly opposed to religion in all it's forms. So the chance of Tourniquet opening up a metalhead to God are very slim. A metalhead may enjoy the band, but if they aren't already Christian they aren't going to be converted.

The music is good, but this band's worldview goes against all that is metal. Metal is about striking out against authority, rebelling against the establishment. Religion, and especially Christianity, is about conforming to God's wishes/plan, being a sheep and following the heard and never straying from what the Bible tells you. There is no freedom in religion.

That being said I think Tourniquet is an excellent band even though I strongly disagree with their message/worldview.
