  • BAD BAD BAD....should only be touching that paper with gloves on...oils from hands can damage the printer head....replacing printer head can cost as much as the machine itself!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!

  • @reschcreations Thumbs up if you wear gloves when changing paper!

  • hi , i was looking for a large size printer and was wondering if you could advise me ... i saw this add for the stylus pro 9600 used at 800$ is it worth it ? and for quality pictures would you recommend it ?

  • @C4n4di4n1 The Epson Stylus Pro 9600 is a great printer. $800 is probably very reasonable price. I am not sure though, because ours is definitely not for sale! It is still in service and outputs posters nearly every day. The Epson Enhanced Matte paper and UltraChrome inks we use make it an excellent solution for creating museum-quality prints.

  • @niftyken thanx for your quick reply where should i shop for the ink and paper ? do you guys sell those ?

  • @C4n4di4n1 I can't seem to post a link here, so let me try sending the link to you privately. If anyone else wants the link(s), let me know!

  • @rubent100 I must admit I've always struggled to truly appreciate what "maximum resolution 2880 x 1440 dpi" really means. Basically, it sounds like it should be way better than the 300-600 dpi that most photos are printed at. I've definitely printed out digital photos on this printer at 44" wide and they look great! (Of course, you better have a pretty high-resolution image to start with.)

  • Excellent thanks man. One last question, how is the resolution of the image quality from this printer on this Enhanced Matte paper? Do you have a reference picture of what it's capable of? I would really appreciate it.

  • @rubent100 We only use Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, which I believe is 10.3 mil. But I'm sure the printer can handle even thicker paper.

  • how thick of paper can this thing use?
