I've never seen this film, but just recently, discovered that it was the inspiration for the long running TV series, Mystery Science Theater 3000.

robhere, I won't get into everything you and the other person are discussing but I have to say you are very intelligent and I agree with most everything you stated. Don't worry, I have a feeling things will eventually turn around and people will realize how thy're ruining the world, their lives and each other someday.

I wonder if the director of "Moon" was inspired by this movie.  The character isolation seems similar.

this more more than anything i thought, although he's obviously inspired by many other sci-fi flicks, not that moon isn't original in its own right.
