Playing bass with Suffragette City. No matter what I do, I have trouble getting the perfect mix of music and bass. The mix is so distorted and raw (which is good) that I had to turn the treble down on the playback, then upped the bass. I love this song. David Bowie has had much influence on people's playing.

There is a tab version of it on bass masta if your still after it.
its not 100% accurate, but it works good as a guide.
i play it on a different spot on the neck to the tab (start on D 7th fret) but thats just preferance

Pretty good. I also did a version of that song. Everybody seems to do it a little bit different.

@jtat91 you can find good tab with Hal Leonards: Rock bass bible........this dude in this video should check it out
cuz he's way off, if you care about playing along note for note.....

@junipree I don't, though.. sorry. I like the way I play this.. I know there are purists out there, but even live, I receive loads of compliments on this.. with the way I play it. that doesn't make it right, I know, but since I know about 300 songs now.. there's no way I am going to bother with this one.. as for playing note for note, if others care to do so, they should buy the music, etc.. agreed.
