Very bad, compressed quality and use of filters. I claim that my Sony CX130E provides uncomparably better output at 1080p. Too much compression here!

@airs0ft3r That's right, but none of these is available for under $25k. So I don't think blinkblinkblinkkdd can shoot a movie with one of these, because he couldn't afford it. ;)

@pat103338 You're talking about the tram at 1:37, right? I think that object tracking might have made this shot possible. The a77 uses the sensor image to detect objects and tries (more or less successful) to keep them in focus when you activate object tracking.

@blinkblinkblinkkdd While the quality is good, when you compare the image to a real movie camera, like a Red Epic or Arri Alexa, the image is just lacking something. I think Sony compresses too much
