Lovely.. Yup, she never receive as much credit as her sister, Aretha. This original piece is awesome and i'm just thinking about how her voice would still be relevant for today music market..

Erma's version is wonderfully soulful. Sure, Janis did it well too, but it's refreshing to hear the original after the Janis version was SOOOO overplayed on , not only the radio, but every dive bar jukebox and karaoke bar in the country. Erma and Aretha were both amazing singers. It's unfortunate that Erma never got the credit that her sister did. I love the lower, warmer tone of Erma's voice as compared to Aretha's.... not that Aretha isn't still the Queen!
