@glennleevi No, deafness is more of an inconvenience than a disability. Your other senses can compensate. Still, in my line of work hearing is mandatory, especially around gators & moccosins.

@glennleevi i'm sorry i said that the way i did. that is quite amazing and wonderful. i have some friends who are deaf as well, and i know that they are some of the nicest people i'll ever meet.

@SillyMooon Deaf is not a disability but instead is a gift. Some of the nicest people I know are deaf and they listen to Enya by turning it up real loud and feeling the vibrations.
