This butterdish is thrown on the wheel using a double wall throwing method, some altering and some handbuilding. Be sure to check out the article in Pottery Making Illustrated (Nov/Dec 2009 issue) for details.

  • What is that tool you used to flatten the bottom and where can you get one??

  • @fodent92 - they are from MudTools, I think it's called a shredder. For some reason I can't post a link, but do a google search for MudTools and then "Shredder"
