  • I love how humble Trevor Lyman stays even when the press continually attributes those huge fundraising days to him. He always gives credit to all the other people who contributed to the success of the project.

I hope he can continue to stay humble because he is an integral organizer for our grassroots effort.

Thanks, Trevor. We really appreciate you.

  • We need more money for it, they didn't make it to 400,000 by yesturday. I hope it can go longer. Can Canadians buy time on the blimp...since its not donating to the campaign?

  • I wonder how many ron-paul crazies went on to become birther crazies.

  • I want a blimp with a bar

  • oh my lord....

    please, learn politics :(

  • id rather have jon mccain as president than ron paul. heck, Id settle for palin over dr paul.

  • Yes, much of it probably is.

As you say about basic conduct these are obvious things and if these spammers do not understand that then they really have no business voting i.m.o.

As a side note I actually at one time I asked a RP spammer to stop doing what he/she did. I got blocked... so I understand where you are coming from. But you need to realize that your spam does not end the problem. Instead if you see spam mark it as spam, give them a thumb down and block them. Fair play.

  • While I'm sure some of the spam was made to discredit the Ron Paul campaign, the vast majority of it it completely genuine.

If there was a problem with people spamming Ron paul ads in an effort to make his supporters look bad (More power to them) it would have been reflected in the real campaign, probally through messages to supporters reminding them to be civil or teaching them basic ettiquette. I've seen no official literature advising supporters to conduct themselves civilly.

  • Oh and about that eye for an eye. Have you ever looked at the possibility that the RP spammers could be people who want to hurt RPs campaign? These people know that spam is unpopular and cheap tricks like these are probably used. Add some silly conspiracy theory to that (9/11 was made by martians from Venus when the man speaks of blowback, the state of the economy and how government limits your freedom) and people start calling the man crackpot and the followers pauloholics.

  • Spamming websites does not send a blimp up in the air you know. I was very impressed to see that the idea was turned into the real thing.

Are not the primaries only preliminary results? I'm really not familiar with how the US elections work prior the main voting.

  • Ron Pauls campaign relied on people spamming various websites with advertisments for him. I am simply, spamming them back, as the deserve. An eye for an eye.

Also, criticizing a particular candidate is not the same as posting an advertisement. Notice that I did not endorse any particular candidates in my spamming campaign.

But it's all a moot point now that he finally lost the republican primaries. I kept telling you people, the republicans always vote republican.
