Psygnosis Intro

An old Psygnosis promo intro movie. I make no bones about it. Psygnosis is one of my personal favorite developer and publisher. Their games ooze quality ever since their first Atari ST and Amiga game.

Psygnosis is still around, a large chunk of Sony SCE as we know it grew from Psygnosis after sony bought them.

The original Liverpool psygnosis company is still going too, it's just known as Studio Liverpool. Some of the original guys from the 80's are still there.

Still, About time sony revived the psygnosis brand really. If they can use the spiderman three font on the ps3, they can get roger dean in to something that actually looks good.

truly amazing stuff they made during the 80s, I wish games were still like that. Heck, I'd even turn in my amd64 for a nice amiga!

Another interesting fact is that Psygnosis' logo was designed by British artist Roger Dean, who also did cover artwork for the rock group Yes. He is also credited for designing the current logos for Tetris.

Also, Psygnosis was one of at least two companies who made "Face-Off" games for Nickelodeon's game show "Nick Arcade", which ran between 1991 and 1992 or 1993.

Good to hear that the heart of Psygnosis/Psyclapse is still alive and kicking; I'd actually like to see the actual Psygnosis name and logo brought back into circulation. It was an emblem that you always knew meant two things: a game with amazing graphics and sound, and (perhaps more importantly) a game that just oozed MOOD. The Shadow Of The Beast series is one of my favorite game series of all time, and it had the most amazing mood and atmosphere; that's what made their games amazing.

man i wish they keep going with colony wars:red sun and up with another one for ps3 at least with better things and making it way cool the i loved all colony wars game hope they come out with more of those kind in the future not similar but something that better like those.
