PC - METRO 2033 Gameplay - Sandy Bridge i5 2400 + HD 6850

Here is my METRO 2033 Gameplay :)

Everything on max with DX11 and 8x AF and AAA (I think its Adaptive Anti-Alias). Resolution is 1680 x 1050.
Options will be shown in the Video.

Intel Core i5 2400 Sandy Bridge @ 3,2 - 3,3 GHz
ATi Radeon HD 6850 1 GB @ 950 MHz Core Clock
Nv 9600 GT as PhysX-Processor with Physx Patch (to work with Radeon)
4 GB DDR3 Exceleram

Perfomance:
The Beginning of METRO 2033
With FRAPS 18 - 31 fps
without Fraps (not yet tested really. But I THINK, something like 25 - 50 fps) -- This stat will be updated later.

how much did your pc cost without windows?

dont really know. I've built it part to part together. I think everything together would cost roundabout ~600€ - ~800€

And i own the windows 7 ultimate system builder for "only" 120€ at the release date of win 7.

NO, it doesnt! :P Sounds good for the german being! But okay, compared to the original russian voice, the german voices sounds not so good. I know it, because im russian/kazakh and life in germany.

dude. i dont need it to overclock. it has enough power for me. the most work does the gpu. nad thats the only thing, i overclock.

because it was to expensive, after it released. The i5 2400 was 170€ the 2500k way over 200€

You really need a good gpu. The 6870 is a good one ond nothing bottleneck eachother :)

es geht um die 5750 von dem einen, dass ich mit meiner karte das net hinbekomme ist klar aber die karte die er und ich bae, da die leistungs technisch das gleiche sind reichen für bc2 mehr als locker. Ich habe bei alles may und hbaq und so 88% auslastung der gpu. Meine cpu ist müll da kommt ne intel i5 lösung rein ich weiß noch net welche aber es wird wiededr intel, da die momentan besseres p/l verhältnis haben MFG

It cant do DirectX 11 :P

With DX11 there are more effects, like Tesselation and better Shadows. This needs more power. Your card isnt doing this effects, because of its DX9/10

@Zeeeeeek my OLD 9800gt can handle the game wuth 4xaa and 8xaf at 1680 at all high! the cpu is all in that game

what causes the lighting to be so intense and awesome like that? is that because of physx or aaa?

The Processor (i5 2400) is super good enoug :D

But the graphics card sucks. You gonna need a HD 6850 too or a Nvidia GTX 460. Both are good and doesnt cost much now.

@Zeeeeeek That kinda sucks. I am already spending $295 on a new motherboard and this processor. Do you have recommendations for good ye not expensive video cards or is it the processor the one that fails? (pretty sure its the graphics card)
