  • proof positive of a god? what a ridiculous statement

  • The Taliban couldn't have oppressed if we hadn't put them into power. The same goes for Saddam Hussein. No need to 'blame America first,' but there's also no need to assume America is always without fault. The US put this oppressive regime into power to fight back the USSR for USA's interest, never mind the fall out once that goal was accomplished. It's honest & okay to admit the US is as imperfect as any other country.

  • @toshiamata As for mistakes - man is NOT made of dust and water, the sun and moon do NOT have separate orbits and there are no different 'levels of heaven'. Because all of these assertions were made at the time of Ptolemy's field of understanding, that's where Muslims have stayed whereas the rest of the world has moved on to Copernicus and beyond. Back to abrogation, you are right - certain verses abrogated the others. It's just a pity that the violent ones abrogate the peaceful ones.

  • @toshiamata Yes there are contradictions in the Quran. Talking about abrogation (which is not a 'science') and comparing the Bible as a means to excuse the contradictions is simply tu quoque. Abrogation was introduced by Muhammad precisely because the faithful at the time noticed the contradictions. It was his way of explaining them away. Nothing you mention (black holes etc..) is in the Quran. To get that from the verses held up as examples is stupidity in the extreme.

  • @olavm91 - All right, if you can say that there is no problem and I really discourage you to read this ibscene book. There is no mistake or contradiction in the qoran and I ask you to show me just one contradiction or mistake if you can. You're talikng about science, so how could you explain that black holes, big bang and expansion of the universe is mentioned in the qoran. I hope you'll find the way someday..

  • @toshiamata Well, if that's the case with SV I don't really like it either. And both the bible and koran is filled with contradictions and mistakes. these are man made products and approaches. if there is a God we find his truth and meaning in the nature through science and reason. if we don't, we risk to follow a false god which is the worse thing people can do.

  • @olavm91 - So how could you talk about something you know nothing about? We are not dealing with criticism which is something i totally accept, we are dealing with vilifivation and slandering. You said that I'm brainwadhed ans without open mind, in fact I told you about abrogation in the coran, so it's an important thing to understand that some verses get abrogate by another section. So you'll find no contradiction in the qoran, on the contrary the bible is filled with mistakes and contradiction

  • @toshiamata I've not read the SV and I don't care to read it either. If you feel offended by criticism of religion, you don't care about truth. People embracing critical thinking will eventually reveal falsehood and discover truth. Where people initiate public debate about these things, irreligiousity increases. I've actually read the Quran and there are alot of mistakes and contradictions in it. But I guess you are too dogmatic and brainwashed to be open minded about those questions.

  • @olavm91 - Total non sense, there is no contradiction in the holy qoran, you should start to learn about the science of abrogation in order to understand God's words. The qoran contains a multitudes of miracles (talking about big bang, black holes, expansion of the universe) Nobody can't deny this. If you want peace, you better stop offendong our beliefs and our religion, otherwise it will be not possible. Stop defending Salman Rushdie please, this guy has insulted even white people in the SV..

  • @toshiamata Stop being so angry. We don't really believe in war but in peace and love. And if there is a God you should be aware that islam is a blasphemous religion. Muslims believe that every single word in the quran are received from the heavens. In that case, if you detect one single error or contradiction in the quran, islam must be a false religion. So you should go search: "scientific errors quran wikiislam" and see the truth. Religious beliefs are correlated with lack of education.

  • @olavm91 - So be prepared for the war of the 21 century, the earth belogns to God not to humanists, democrats, writers or satanic novelist like this dog of Rushdie, he will burn in helle forever. Islam is the best religion who brings peace and harmony in the society, .. Allah ou Akbar!!!!
