Machete - Danny Trejo [A Drawing by Karthik Abhiram]

A drawing of Danny Trejo as "Machete" from the Robert Rodriguez grindhouse movie.

I liked the movie a lot, they created a very interesting character and I look forward to seeing sequels if they do make them!

This drawing was done with a 6B pencil on canvas. I coloured it later in Photoshop. There are a few variants I made of the final piece, all of them are shown in the video.

The music is a track called "Havana Smooth" by Lee Jackson and Bobby Prince from the game "Rise of the Triad".
