Her version is actually fantastic and she's one of the few performers who did justice to that song. Really difficult to translate it to a blue grass type version. Good job, Dolly.

I must say....I NEVER heard Stairway to Heaven (Led Zep's verision) until I was 34 and I was proud of that....but not as proud as stating I had heard your version before that! I only heard L.Z.'s ver because I was "stuck" in a B-day card store lol, blame my sister,  ;) D.P. is the best even after hearing the original!!!!!!!

I'll give her props for this. I expected it to be really lame , but it was a different twist on a great song. IMHO though, Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart really nail the song.
