A piece of Toytown/Sunshine Pop from Birmingham's The Hinge who included Chris Sedgewick and Gerry Levene who had previously fronted the famed Brum beat band Gerry Levene and The Avengers whose various line ups had at one time included The Moody Blues Graeme Edge and The Moves Roy Wood.

  • @MoblePhnsMakeUGrwOld Thanks for your comments.I think this would have fitted nicely into Keith West's/Mark Wirtz' 'Teenage Opera' or possibly on a Kinks themed album like 'Village Green'.As you rightly say,it had no chance of being a hit,I don't recall hearing at the time,not even on the famed Radio Luxembourg.

  • Crap! I had forgotten all about the 45! I had it in the late 90's and foolish sold it, cool track from that "everyman" genre ("Reflections Of Charles Brown", "Excerpts From A Teenage Opera" etc).
