from a Navy family too, don't know many details but do know that I had a great uncle aboard the carrier HMS Glorious, worked down in the engine room as a stoker, when the ship was sunk by german battlecruisers Gneisenau and Scharnhorst, the poor bugger would have not stood a chance after the watertight doors were closed on him. RIP all sailors of every nation who died in both the wars.
