Niagara District Secondary School is the only International Baccalaureate Candidate secondary school* in Niagara.
In the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, students learn how to learn. This is an international programme and the teachers and school must meet the same high standards as all IB schools around the world.
Niagara District Secondary School plans to have IB classes beginning with the students in grade 11 in September 2010. The teachers are alrady IB trained. Students interested in IB should come to Niagara District for grade 10 to preare to IB. www.ibo.org
*Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) as IB World Schools can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years (PYP), the Middle Years (MYP), or the Diploma Programme. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.

@wweandtna12 it's just one extended essay, and it's not that big of a deal once you have the topic. then it's just research, research and research. but of course there are 'minor' essays to be written as well, such as the IA:s and World Lit. i wish all of you all the best with your studies:)

Do you only have to write one extended essay, or do you have to write like a bunch throughout the program?

hi!i thanx for the advice,i recently joined the IB programme in Sweden and i liked it so far but what is scaring me the most is the extended essay,4000 words is really alot..
