Island Snapshot - Midnight Blizzard!

So it actually snowed here on the island and WOW was I caught off guard! I really wasn't expecting it given the fact that it's usually like several degrees warmer here than the rest of the Outer Banks. So I thought I'd go out and take a quick video of it! Sorry the sound is so quiet - this was filmed at approx 1:30 in the morning so I didn't really want to wake anyone.

I hope you guys don't mind these little snippets - I'm still trying to shuffle software around and the laptop seems to like the flipcam better than the desktop. Better than nothing though, right? :)

we ended up with about 3-6 inches in my part of Charlotte, NC. I think we had less than 10 actual snow events, maybe even under 5 when I grew up in the EC and Hertford areas of the inter-coastal but there was one blizzard back in like 1980 that trapped everyone!!!
