On August 1, 2008, the California Coalition For Workers Memorial day organized a press conference and speak out in Sacramento on the attack on injured workers, the collapse of Ca-OSHA and the destruction of Workers Comp to prevent injured workers from getting healthcare and benefits.

I really applaud the work you are doing edoctoor for Injured workers and for myself as a Injured Ironworker. I find it very disturbing that Stephen Harper and ED STELMACH have created the disposable Ironworker. Or "Disposable worker", period. With temp foreign workers there is no need to rehabilitate whiny injured canadian workers. Why would they want to do that? FDR warned about corporatism in a 1939 message to congress. Thank you Mr. Nader. It is time some high profile person expose the fraud that is called workers compensation. You are only guaranteed one thing after being permanently disabled form your employment in any ofthe so called civilized countries. That is Pain! Poverty! Death! From suffering in pain with no treatment, to losing all you worked for, to becoming depressed and committing suicide. Militancy is called for when you are lied to, cheated, robbed, by your government and big business.
