Looking back, I still get emotional about it, but I just try to cherish all the great times I had with my cat.

HEY, the same stuff happened to me with my first dog, he ran away but i guess he got ran over. P.S youll get over it heartbreak though.

Blue Russians are an amazing type of cat. Very playful and entergetic. I had one a few years ago. It was hit by a car. I was extremely sad because we had him barried in our back yard. I still miss him to this day.

My mother had an awesome Blue Cat named Sammy.
When he was just a year old, he too was hit by a car. We were lucky though as he survived and lived 10 more years.

What a co-incidence and extra time :) that's fabulous. Our pets certainly show us unconditional love. I look at this video sometimes (and still get tears), and think about how at only 8 years old, Sammy had somehow really aged in the last year. She was the one in a million in my life.

Thank you everyone, not a day goes by that I don't say Sammy's name. When you loose someone close to you suddenly - I don't know that you ever get 'over it'. It's a life experience we will all have, and I'm lucky I guess that this is the first time I've experienced such a sad loss suddenly. I miss her for many reasons, but Cairo and I say her name and that reminds us how much joy, hope and happiness she brought into our lives :) we were lucky to know her and one day will see her again! :)
