Lol People getting mad over the hope thing... Please all the colors of the rainbow didnt become rings until way more recently. I like this origin story... But with all the recent shit that has come up, its really a headache just to know which color does what and why.

@NJakini Yeah but I've heard it said that unless you're choosen to be a Green Lantern no force in the universe can force the ring on your finger. The rings are allowed to choose their own wearers and they've even been shown to respond to subconious will (Arisa's ring made her an adult becasue she loved Hal and he wouldn't have anything to do with a child). So it should resist being misused and stolen even if the theif is a canidate. As long as it's current user is alive.

@jakub1980 mindcontrl11 is right. the part that is wrong is that the creator implied the GL corps. were fueled by hope rather than willpower. normally it could slide but since there is a whole other corp. dedicated to hope. the blue lantern corps., there should have been a distinction. learn your shit bro. read some GL comics
