I definitely agree with you on the shoot on sight thing. But another, better thing to do would be to request the pilots to position the plane so that protesters are right behind the engines. Then put it on full thrust.

Plane Stupid? Never has an activist group been more appropriately named. Get over it, Air Travel is expanding and always will. Yes airlines are looking at Greener Fuels and Airports are looking at Alternative Powers, Great I fully support that but airport expansion HAS to happen. Sorry but thats life, deal with it. Good job BAA! Anyone who breaks into airports and causes disruption to an airport is no better than a terrorist and they should be dealt with under the anti-terror laws and locked up.

You plane stupid idiots thought you were doing the right thing today blocking the run way @ Aberdeen Airport 2day. LOL. u moved coz u were told some1 needed to be airlifted out of aberdeen airport because they were seriously ill. agian lol. BAA aberdeen isnt used for medical airlifts as aberdeen hospital have their own heli pad. All i can say is WAAAAAYYY!

From what i could see from this missleadingly titled video was a BAA snow plough driving up to the fences you put up. they did not ram the group. its psycology to scare some of the less hardcore ones of the group.

I spoke to someone from this group. I absolutely support reduction of emissions, and improvement of our car-less land transport.

Her argument was not for train expansion. Or at least, it was supportive of it. She didn't excuse what the group did. It is a strangely misplaced humanism where people will fuck up the lives of others to make a point (probably about 0.0001%) or much much less about global energy usage - in a single day. Finite our fuel may be, but why ruin days for others like that?

Well if you are not planestupid why did you choose that name? The trouble with people like planestupid is that they criticise the current situation without helping to change it or provide alternative ideas. The reason the airports need to expand is beacuse more and more people want to fly they are reacting to a demand. The countries that cause the pollution are China, USA and India, the UK is small beer. If planestupid tried that shit in any other country they would have been shot!
