  • before u comment to this video and how different choir sung the song AMA NAMIN by CAlalang... U must try to listen from the original choir who sung first that song which is the UST SINGERS... CHOIR OF THE WORLD... who made that song interpretation very well than the others..

  • Are you saying the ACS in Spain? I love that. Haven't heard the UPSA version or the PNU version.

  • pls try to listen the version of pnu chorale it's also excelent! very good interpretation.

  • I like UPSA's and ACS's versions. UPSA has a sweeter more tender sound. ACS is cleaner and stronger with clear and crisp sopranos and tenors. UPSA has better dynamics and control. Their voices are lighter but has better texture but also sounds dirty and a bit flat at times. Ateneo's version is clean all throughout but at times sounds shrill, frantic, and hysterical. Their strong voices only punctuate that.

UP Med's not bad but it simply doesn't belong in the same universe as the other 2.

  • I love UPSA's balance better than ACS's but ACS has a stronger and finer quality. Their sopranos and tenors are really clean. Some parts in UPSA's sounded dirty and probably even flat. However, some parts in ACS's version also sounded shrill and hysterical. UPSA has slightly better control and dynamics, but ACS has a more developed sound.

The UP Med Choir doesn't belong in the same category as the other 2. It's not bad, but it's just not on the same level.

  • Sa aking palagay, parehong maganda ang UPSA at ACS version. It's a matter of taste na lang ng listener kung ano ang mas gusto niya regarding execution of dynamics and vocal quality.

  • UPSA - maganda ang umpisa.,me movement din..malambot ang tira ng sopranos kaso me part na flat na ung chord

UP medchoir - ok lang...kaso maraming lumalabas..hindi sila kapit.

  • version of UP med choir vs ACS vs UPSA

    heré¨s my ranking!

    no.1 ACS

    no.2 UPSA

    no.3 UP med choir

    comments,

ACS - on pitch, walang lumalabas, tsaka me movement.nakakakilabot ung tunog...and nagriring ang ang mga chords.

    UPSA -

  • UPSA remains to be one of the best choirs in the Philippines and in Europe. Have ACS win the prestigious Concorso Polyfonico Guido d' Arrezo in Italy first before we can start comparing. This is definitely one the most difficult pieces that we learned in UPSA.
