Starting to clear some of the scrub bush at the front of our property. The bush is about 15 feet in diameter and has branches about 1-2 inches in diameter. The tractor is a DaxTrac 304G2 and the rotary cutter is a Woods Brush Bull 60. Very tough little tractor and an incredibly tough rotary cutter. Total time to digest this brush was about 15 minutes. This video was sped up about 400% causing the normal tractor noise to sound much more like a buzzing...

  • yea mine has about 30 also and where i want to bushhog there is alot of stumps, so do u think if i go slow and run it on low rpm's it wont hurt the bushhog??? thanks

  • @storminnormanz if its a heavy duty cutter it will just buck up if you hit a stump (mine has a stump jumper) , if its a light duty cutter repeated stump hits will start to do damage. My BB60 is rated as a medium duty cutter and I really don't have enough hp to test its full potential. Having a hydraulic top link allows me to gradually cut down the real tough stuff as in the video. I've hit some real tough stuff in deep field grass and all I've broken is the shear pin.

  • what happens if u run over a big stump??

  • @storminnormanz well, it either gets chewed up or the tractor stalls out. I've only got about 30 pto hp to run the cutter. Oh and maybe the shear bolt will snap. No real damage in any of these outcomes.

  • Way to fn stick with it man.

  • could you like..slow it down a bit?

  • Great Video!!! Great demonstration of the Woods BrushBull too! I'm sure the Woods Company has watched this video and are proud of it! They should be. I have an uncle and a friend who each have a 60" BrushBull. They have not been pleased with them. How do you like it?... That's a nice little 4x4 tractor. I've never heard of that brand but from the looks of it, I'm assuming it's Chinese made? Please post more videos!

  • You sure made quick work of that.

  • I know you have the video in fast motion, but I have to say that it sounds like a very large weed wacker :-) Great job!!
