Uganda's police arrested protesting opposition leaders in Kampala yesterday (August 18). Youth leaders from the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) were protesting the appointment of the same electoral commissioners that ran the 2006 polls which the FDC says were rigged.
You don't have to pull another man like an animal. You need to read their rights first. Every man deserves the right to live here peacefully. It is his/her right to get upset as long as he is not hurting any one. If this is how Uganda is going to lead its people to freedom of speech. I believe it is a wrong aproach. Don't start brutalizing the victim before you know why he is behaving in such a manor.

You don't have to pull another man. You need to read their rights first. Every man has a right to live here on earth. It is hi/her right to get upset as long us he is not hurting any one. If this is how Uganda is going to lead it people to happiness. I know it is not going to work. Let us get to the bone where the problem has started before we misstreat each other. I see the police does not take any minute to take some one and start to brutalize immediately. Wrong.

Ugandan Police is ill trained and Museveni thinks he has got protection. We guys from Iraq are far much better than his police and army, because we go by the rules that is either the rules of use of force or the rules of engagement. But those police officers don't even know how to handle a suspect.
