Hi this is my pedal board (work in progress...mounting coloured leds on it). Effect pedals are:
Carl Martin Compressor Limiter - Tech21 Sansamp PBDI - Electro Harmonix Micro Synthesizer - Electro Harmoniz Bass Big Muff - Electro Harmonix Stereo Pulsar! GREAT SOUND... next time I'm going to record some demos combining these effects...

  • how do the synth and big muff sound put together? i have the muff so i already know how that is but as a bassist im sure youve heard the song Hysteria by Muse and that song mainly has synth and big muff in it so with those 2 pedals how close is your tone to the actual thing?

  • @yomammaonastick I don't think he uses both pedals (it seems the russian big muff) ... anyway I never tried to set combination between bass big muff and synth in order to obtain hysteria sound...I'm going to try in these days and I'll tell you how it sounds like

  • @yomammaonastick hey, in these days I tried some mix with Sansamp and muff, with amp's eq flat, and I got a sound quite close to what you're looking for...anyway in hysteria there is some synth in but the muff is the russian one, not the bass big muff...

  • i dig the song when the bass comes in..nice job

  • @xsupernazix glad to know that you like it, thousand thanks for your comment

  • Stereo pulsar is ok...but I tried the octave multiplexer by ehx and I didn't really like it on guitar...I don't know how could it work on bass guitar...I think it sounds quite dirty...try before buy it...or I suggest you to look for an octave pedal studied for bass guitar. bye

  • Hi there.. since you've tried a lot of pedals.. can you help me choose what to get in my shortlist: Eden WTDI direct box / Hartke VXL Bass attack / Tech21 Sansamp / Xotic RC Bass booster? I just need something to start with.. I'm just a after a more sustained tone, fat and meaty, I 'll use often in live setting playing slow ballad or R&B type, fingerstyle playing. Thanks!

  • @turpalarva mo idea man

  • @Vizillar2505 in which order?

  • tech 21-nyc = FUCKING AMAZING SOAD SONG :D

  • @elninodelamuerte chris did that sound with TWO big muffs, akai filter and digitech bass synth-wah

  • wow,

    is nice,good song fuzz

  • @elninodelamuerte oh im stupid yes you did answer my question by playing that riff at the end haha.

  • @elninodelamuerte right but those arent easy to find. i also agree that sansamp+big muff sound amazing together when you turn the blend on full and the 2 knobs on the muff full. i didnt even mention that i also have a sansamp so the fact that you bring that up is funny. but you didnt answer my question haha.
