The Ujala-Asianet Film Awards-2010, in 25 categories, were announced by Asianet senior vice-president, programmes, R Sreekantan Nair at a press conference here on Sunday.

The ASIANET FILM AWARDS, are presented annually by the Ujala & Asianet - A TV Channel in Kerala to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in Mollywood, the Malayalam language film industry. Instituted in 1998, the ceremony is held in India to distribute awards every year.

  • This particular clip brings goodebumps on me-seen this more than 100times already..the differant music they applied on each great men are simply just rocking!! Congrats..But unfortunately those anchors proved once again the inability to express the respect for most of the guests!! There is nothing to loose to greet/welcome by calling "Sir" infront of their names..Those ladies should be brainwashed or tutioned by the Asianet authoritries. But otherwise I`ll keep watching this..thx for the upload.

  • Organisers should notice this its very disrespectful to call Shri K S Sethumadhavan by his first name.......

  • wow...what a moment...legends of indian film industry...

  • The anchors at stage should not be calling famous actors or the elderlys by their first names, they should have called Kamal Hasan by the name Dr Kamal Hasan instead of calling by his first name.
