I'm sure she does respect people who believe in God, but the people who do believe in God should respect her wishes and rights

if this was different and the scientific facts were adhered to and creationism thrown out of science lessons, then I don't think there would be a problem.

Biology/chemistry/physics lessons are no place for creationism talks, that should be taught in religious education where children learn about all of the religions to prepare them for adulthood.

There is only hatred between cultures not because of a lack of understanding IMO & sorry for rant.

I'd say a portion of them do because they don't see any point in it, I think the main reason though are because of religions like new earth creationism lying about scientific facts and attempting to disprove things with fake science. Some states are now publishing science text books with a scientific version of certain tried and tested experiments/facts, and weighing it up against things written in the bible. This is no way to teach our children if society is going to progress forwards.

Most atheist like Jessica believe religion poisons everything. Personally, I believe man poisons religion. To pretend as you are that atheist respect those with whom they disagree, is nonsense! Atheist want religion, eliminated.

An identical episode just happened here in Brazil. The teacher had to stop the pray. It was a nice outcome.

I could not think of a better reason. But in fact, I think it was only a start point. After that, a person begins to think, ask questions, think for her self. Ando so on, till stop to believe and fantastic beings. I know a lot o people who went through the same path. To be fair with God, may I say: he didn't do anything wrong, because he doesn't exists. But, if he exists, maybe the world would be a very nice place, full of joy and only joy.

Religion history should be covered in school psychology classes as a proof for brain's natural tendency for delusion without the use of hallucinogens.

She said she fully embraces being a witch and it appears she is in a public school. Her issue is with God being God because her witch comment is her declaring that she wants Satan as her God
