Islam in Europe. A Dutch woman and her views on the changing political climate of her adopted country following recent election gains by Geert Wilders. On trial for incitement against Holland's approximately one million Muslims, Wilders recently told a Dutch court, "I do not encourage hatred, I do not encourage discrimination." Instead Wilders, 47, insisted. "I defend the character, the identity, the culture and the freedom of the Netherlands."
