Lada 1500 S (2103) coldstart

Coldstarting my trusty Lada 1500 S after it sat for about 1 1/2 month in the garage. It fires up as soon as the gas has been pumped to the carburator. It is still on snow/winter tires with studs, need to change them soon, summer season is coming.

I remember when they first came out in the early 70's ... I was so ashamed that my dad only had a Moskvich 403 ... can't really show off in a 403 much ...

This is built in 1980. I also have one from 1974, mostly they are exactly the same.

Cool,I didn't know that they have Lada's in norway.

I'm From Brazil,the ladas got here on the early 90s,the didn't have succes on ther sales,but I love them,I looking for one to buy.

Lada sold a lot here in the 70's and 80's. It was a reliable and cheap car, built to last tough winters. But in the 90's the sale dropped and in 1998 the Lada import stopped, unfortunately.

What engine oil do you use? I think my 10W-40 oil is too thin for this engine. When the engine reaches operating temperature it will run with blinking oil pressure light or is the engine worn out.

my grandfather has lada 1500 but the back lights are another and the color is the same like this ! Respect for russian cars and lada !

I had two 2103/1500cc in Bulgaria they were the best car that money could buy you. Very nice cars to love and look after

@LadaNorway may i complement your car, this is the nicest lada ive seen. 2103 are the nicest ones ever made. I have a 1978 2103 in red, such a beautiful car.
