  • What was the purpose of taking this apart?

  • @UberNerdConsort This was so someone could see what a flash drive looks like, or how to open. Whatever reason you want to use.

  • I'm thinking of taking mine apart to after i hit mine while plugged in and it's got slanted. Wish me luck

  • Exactly what happened to mine.

Someone plugged it into their PC tower and the port was at the bottom and they like kicked it or something.

  • Well you can't tell me that because

    1. I have a 2GB Cruzer Titanium.

    2. I opened it up, using a SCREWDRIVER, and pried it from the keychain strap hole.

  • any1 know how to remove the cruzer edge ?

  • @UberNerdConsort

You could put the actual flash drive into another housing. Hide 8 gigs in a case that says 2 gigs, or put it in something creative like an NES controller.

  • I took my 4gb cruzer and custom fitted in one of those imation 512mb from target; the one with the keychain looking thing :D

  • Anyone wondering why you would make this video: I was about to take mine apart so it would fit more easily on an xbox360 but I was not sure what it looked like on the inside. I'm not sure that exposing the chips to the air would be a good idea though. Thanks for making this video, now I know!

  • I did the same thing to my same model usb drive after i bought myself a tuff n tiny. What I did differently, though, was carefully take off the white part and wrap most of it in electrical tape. I plugged it in to make sure it still worked, and it did perfectly! It's a lot smaller now and less of a pain, although it doesn't have a lasso. I'm thinking of putting a bootable linux on it.

  • i wont take mine apart

  • Brb..Gonna got get a hammer for this...

  • Dear god-Mine's like a Ninja: It WILL NOT come apart.

I think they super glued mine or something...

So far I've ended up with 2 broken finger nails and 1 "Precision screwdriver" Head That broke off....

Well yeah pretty much mines a ninja..
