ah whack. i have an older version of this pioneer deck...it doesn't have a splash screen. it just goes straight to the navigation. oh well.....at least its fast and theres no need for loading anything..

For your splash screen pics, search for pics on the Internet through google and set the search for 640 X 480 and bigger. Can't be to big, deck will size correctly. Then save to a folder on your PC called 'Pictures'. Now save this folder to your Micro SD card. Now go into settings on your deck, splash screen, search SD, and select you new pic. WA LA!!

nice. quick q: what color are the buttons on the navi? red or orange..
i bought the z3 about a yr n half ago, and it works great but since i drive an altima, the blue from the z3 clashes with the orange on the cluster gauges..thought i might upgrade if its worth it.. thanks..

No. The deck allows you to use whatever pic you want for the startup screen. That pic is from a band called Five Finger Death Punch.
