  • She scares me a little bit with that knife. I see she still has all of her fingers, so I guess she knows what she's doing.

  • @suburbandrudgery

I've made cabbage rolls a number of times. Just about anything can go inside or in the sauce. I've made sweet and sour sauce, for instance, and I've used for the stuffing things like rice, vegetables, and if you like meat, ground beef is always good. Still, I like to see how other people make theirs. Variety is the spice of life. Cheers!

  • @Hereticbooks my mom used regular tomato sauce from a can and poured it on top and then backed them

  • amazing in the freezer! that cuts the coking time right down.

  • i was thinking of canning cabbage rolls maybe pack them with oil and tomato sauce and chunks of garlic

  • but what about the making the cabbage kosher? as far as I know you have to remove all small insects and microscopic worms that can be in the cabbage, and the way to do it is to rinse the leaves used in salty water for a while and then wash it. In this way the leaves are made kosher. that is correct to all green leaves

  • Thank you very much. =) Now I'll get started on them.

  • your filling should be raw and you can freeze the cabbage overnight. just allow a few hours to thaw.
